How will NorKam teachers be communicating with families and students?
- Teachers’ primary method of communication with families and students will be through:
- Parent Emails
- Student Zimbra accounts
- and the MyEdBC portal
- Existing internet platform - eg. Google classroom
How can my child connect to their Zimbra account?
- The Student Zimbra Instruction Sheet.pdf can be accessed here
- This will step each student through how to connect to their Zimbra accounts. Students’ Zimbra usernames are the same as their MyEdBC portal usernames.
- Each students’ password is their student number with ‘sd’ placed in-front of their student number.
- Eg. sd123567
How can a student or parent connect to their MyEdBC account?
- The MyEd Password Instruction Sheet.pdf can be accessed here
- Parents and students can connect to their MyEdBC account by clicking on the MyEdBC link located at the top, left hand side of our NorKam website.
- The MyEdBC portal has a different password than Zimbra. You only get 4 attempts to type in your password correctly before being locked out of the account.
- If you have forgotten your password, the instruction sheet will step you through the process to access a new password.
- If you are locked out of your account, please contact the school at 250-376-1272.

Students who would like to connect with school counsellors can do so by email. Students with last names A-K contact Emily Rouleau at erouleau@sd73.bc.ca, and students with last names L-Z contact Erin Theunissen at etheunissen@sd73.bc.ca.
